When I set out to design an Echoplex cartridge I looked everywhere for a place to make an injection mold for it.
The cost to get the molds made was over $10,000.00.
I almost gave up on the idea then it dawned on me.
I work on Autocad everyday designing sheet metal objects.
Why not make it from METAL instead of plastic??
I designed it, prototyped it and it works GREAT!!!!.
Much better than the plastic cartridges since the tolerances are much tighter than plastic.
